GO Summer 2021 runs daily for five weeks in July and August, when students beat the summer learning slide and build on their school year math and reading gains. GO continued to strengthen its successful distance learning model, with nearly 200 teachers from across NYC providing virtual academic instruction Monday - Thursday. On Fridays, students had the opportunity for in-person enrichment fun and community building with their GO peers.

On May 18, 2021, the GO Project Spring Benefit celebrated a year of student resilience and achievement. The one hour virtual event raised $750,000 to support year-round academic and family support services. We are so grateful to John King for sharing his insights on education equity and to the Dejoie Family for sharing how GO has made an impact on their lives during the pandemic.

The GO Project Young Leadership Council presents GO's Got Talent, a celebration of NYC artists and the achievements of GO students held on January 26, 2021. The YLC's annual event brings together New York's young professional community to raise critical funds for school-year programming, and this year, thanks to an incredible group of musicians, dancers, comedians, and Broadway performers, they raised more than $40,000 in just an hour of virtual fun!
