Each year the GO Project, an academic assistance and social service organization dedicated to serving at risk public school students in Lower Manhattan, hosts a fabulous benefit and auction to raise funds for our program. This event is the foundation of GO’s fundraising for the year, accounting for a large percentage of the total budget. This year’s goal is to raise a total of $430,000 from sponsorships, ticket sales and the silent and live auctions. The GO Project Benefit is a substantial gathering of GO supporters, consisting mostly of parents from private schools throughout New York City and other civic minded individuals from our community. The event attracts a sophisticated crowd and always proves to be a great party for a great cause. All proceeds from the event help fund the program to continue making a difference in the lives of families in lower Manhattan.
